Seeing the essentials of your product on one page is the goal of this card. How often does it happen that people can’t develop a compelling elevator pitch when they ask them, “what are you doing for a living?”. This One-Pager is a reminder of not only your elevator pitch but also about a few other important areas you should know inside-out.
Step 1: Collect Everything
It’s recommended to have all cards played before you collect it on the One-Pager. If you have it all ready: Collect everything on this card, such as the Name, Elevator Pitch, Audience, Competitors, Idea’s uniqueness, etc.
Step 2: See if You Master It
Practice conveying the entire content without reading it to someone and have them test your knowledge, repeating the process until you can naturally speak about it without hesitation.
Step 3: Keep Playing
If there are areas you think need improvement, play the other cards.
Remember, a OnePager is often the only page an investor looks at before they want to know more about your project. But the main reason isn’t investment, as you’re likely to be in the bootstrapping business. It’s about having clarity so you never fail to deliver your product’s essentials in a conversation.
The Videos and recipes to each card are publicly available, but only those bootstrappers who sit down and map out their idea, product or service will get an extra boost to the future.
